A couple of years ago I moved to Scotland, my family bought a house on a little Scottish island, and after working here over summer I decided to stay. The house has been completely renovated since we bought it, and after living in a building site for the first year I’m so happy that its now finished! (believe me, having a sink that drained into a bucket of water was no fun).I thought it would be nice to share some of my favourite parts of the house, I’ve always loved interiors and seeing what other peoples homes look like. My favourite room has got to be the kitchen, its bright and spacious and gets the sun allll day long! I just love it!
Yesterday I planted the little seeds in my new herb pots so hopefully there will be some lovely plants soon! That is if I can keep them alive, I did once manage to kill a cactus! I’m hoping these little guys will have a better chance of survival.
These glass jars are great, they look so much nicer than having bags of flour and sugar out and it makes it so much easier when I’m cooking and baking to just reach and grab what I need.
This is the fireplace in the living room, its perfect for the cold winters here and it’s super cosy too!
My collection of wellies, yes they are all mine, I have no shame! But as you can see I wear them all – they’re the best thing for my walks on the beach.
I hope you all liked seeing a few snippets of my home and generally getting to be a bit nosey!
